Ggripptogg The Four Fisted Brute is the star of day three’s packaging reveals. The art on this package features this fetching fan favorite in all of his menacing glory, with his Super Space Mace at the ready. What more can we say that we haven’t already said about Nate Baertsch’s packaging art? We’re simply running out of superlatives here. All we can say is that he completely knocks this one out of the park and that of all of our packaging reveals to date, this one is our absolute favorite.
It does help that Baertsch has a great character to work with. Ggripptogg’s design is some of legendary Sci-Fi Artist Wayne Barlowe’s best work. Barlowe has done outstanding character design work for Avatar, Hellboy, Harry Potter and Pacific Rim, but when it comes to aliens, ol’ pineapple head here is about as good as it gets. And as if four arms weren’t already enough gripping goodness, the package also indicates that he’s going to have an extra face on the back of his head, just like the original figure.
